I needed a service station in the town of Bellefontaine, Ohio to service the many cars and trucks found there. I purchased a kit that consisted of two walls and some signs and built the complete station from that.

I constructed the two walls and roof from styrene. I built up all of the interior walls from styrene as well. The office with shelves and desk were also constructed from sheet styrene. In this picture the roof has not been fastened in place and is warped by the glue that I used to fasten the roofing material in place. The service station fits into a tight corner on the railroad. The oil cans, island and poles came with the kit. That is me behind the counter. I worked in a gas station very similar to this while in college. The mechanic is checking out the lift. The bay with a car on the lift. Note the calendars and pinups on the wall.
